MEDICAL DERMA ROLLER

Derma Roller & Micro-needling

Derma Roller SRTM is a medically-precision engineered, device that helps combat the appearance of scars, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, stretch marks, cellulite and even hair loss.

Micro skin needling encourages collagen and elastin production within the skin and helps to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections making the skin smoother, brighter, healthier and younger looking.

The 192 needles are made from surgical steel of the highest quality medical grade available and not cheap titanium based products or low grade metals. Our Derma Roller SRTM also contains the smallest amount of nickel (1.5%) on the market, so incidents of allergic reaction are almost impossible. Derma Roller SRTM can be used on all skin types and even on sensitive areas such as around the eyes, the neck and the backs of the hands.

The procedure vastly enhances the skin ability to absorb moisture and nutrients and this is why we combine the treatment with SR Serum which includes 56 of the most effective ingredients for skin rejuvenation and cellulite reduction. It combines cytokines, coenzymes, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids and Hyaluronic acid, making it the most complete skin care treatment available. SR serum targets the underlying factors that cause ageing, while also treating the skin at the surface, restoring its natural youthful look and elasticity

What can i expect during the dermal roller procedure?

Arrival: The practitioner will inform the client on the process and will complete the Dermaroller consent form, and take the pre-treatment photographs.

Anaesthetise: Before the procedure commences, the practitioner will apply a topical anesthetic cream to the skin to make it a much more comfortable experience.

Application: The practitioner will then apply a layer of SR Serum or Hyaluronic Acid to the face and then gently roll the Dermal Roller into the skin to puncture the outermost layers to create thousands of miniscule sub-cutaneous injuries. The client should not feel any appreciable pain. The actual rolling procedure usually lasts 20 minutes. Following the procedure, the practitioner will then apply more of the serum to optimise results. Once the face is cleaned, some barrier cream and sun protection product will be applied to the face as required to soothe and moisturise as well as protect.

Depart: The practitioner will go through the Dermal Roller aftercare. Sun protection and regular moisturising.

How will the skin look after?

After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed in appearance in a similar way as mild to moderate sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch. However this will diminish greatly after a few hours following the treatment and within the next 48-72 hours the skin should be completely healed, and there will be barely any evidence that the procedure has taken place.
